There have been two earthquakes in the past several days. Although I have experienced the shaking of an earthquake before, these are memorable because they are the first ones in my new home in Guatemala. : ) The first one was Sunday morning (5.6) and was a little more noticeable than the one yesterday evening (4.8). Apparently they were both on the west coast about 100 miles from Guatemala City. It’s kind of a weird feeling…like your insides are moving even if you’re sitting still!
