It has been a busy couple of days, but very prosperous. Saturday evening we had a youth rally at the church. The group from Suncoast did a great job with a drama and they performed sign language with a song. There were close to 45 teens in attendance, which is the largest teen function we have ever had! Sunday we had a great service, with Pastor Chip Keller preaching through an interpreter. Yesterday I went with the group to see an orphanage, The Eagles Nest, and see the well-known and beautiful Lake Atitlan. It was a blessing to see the children being cared for with such love. It was also fun to entertain a few of them with some hula-hoop tricks I learned from my teaching days! Today I looked at two houses in different neighborhoods, both possibilities for the future. I’m really glad I had this opportunity to be here! I have a ton of packing to do, so I had better get going!
