Hallelujah, I’m in Guatemala! : ) I arrived on Friday evening without any difficulties. On Saturday after getting settled in, I went with Jerry and Mindy Kinman and kids to Sumpango. It was a busy afternoon with kids club, teacher’s meeting and a youth activity. (I posted photos of kids club in the photo gallery.) Before church on Sunday, Mindy and I drove to an area near their home to look at some places I might be able to live when I move down here for good. I am really interested in one particular place…it is a development of new condominiums. The one thing I really like about it is that it seems very secure. They do not rent these condos, only sell them. There are those who buy them to rent them; so we’ll see what comes along when I move here. Church was great! I enjoyed praising the Lord in Spanish through song! The fellowship of God’s people is wonderfully sweet, even if you can’t understand every single word. Today we are going to check out a few language schools in Antigua, an area known for tourism. So I better get going! Thanks for your prayers!!!!
