One week from today I will be in flight to Guatemala! I am so excited for this opportunity. My visit will serve beneficial for my move there when fundraising is complete. I am thankful for my pastor’s insight in his recommendation to do so. I look forward to spending time with the Kinman and McKnight families as I will have the opportunity to stay in both homes over the course of my trip. My prayer is that God will use that time to strengthen our bond to each other in the ministry. I am also eagerly anticipating becoming more acquainted with the church family in Sumpango and learning more about the culture of my new country. While I am there I will explore the cost and location of safe housing, the prospective purchase of a vehicle, the options for language school, and price-shop for household items. In addition, I hope to help out my Team as we host a church group from Florida. I extend an invitation to you to revisit this site during my visit, as I will blog and post photos here on a regular basis. Above all, I covet your prayers as this time in Guatemala will provide a foundation for my future there!
