There are three family units that comprise Team Guatemala: Jerry and Mindy Kinman, Aaron and Christine McKnight and myself. You can find their pictures by selecting the “Ministry” tab at the top of the page. You might be aware that I am the newest member of the Team. Sometime this summer I am hoping to take a break from fund raising to go to Guatemala to work with my team and become better acquainted with my church family. Team Guatemala has been laboring in Sumpango. Santuario Familiar Bautisto was established there in February of this year and the Lord is blessing the work.

Recently, the Team asked Jaime and Dámaris, a Guatemalan couple, to work with us in reaching people for Christ. We are excited to see how the Lord will us them for His glory. In addition, several of the members have been trained and are now becoming active workers in the church! Praise the Lord!

 

For several months, the Kinmans have been in the States on furlough. It was a pleasure to become more acquainted with them as I was able to see them on various occasions. On Dec 24, they will return to Guatemala. At the same time, the McKnights have been laboring relentlessly in Sumpango and are now preparing for their furlough stateside. Please pray for both families and the church during this transition period.
