Spring update
Friday, 03 April 2009
I'd like to thank you for praying for me! I am currently at 63% of my overall monthly support! That's great news! There is light at the end of the tunnel! Your prayers also played part in a car situation I had last month. I had a mechanical failure and found myself parked along the shoulder of two busy highways merging together, 270 and 70 in St Louis. Praise the Lord for the safety He provided, as well as the helpful AAA tow truck and my brother and sister-in-law, Kurtis and Leah, who helped me with transportation.  : )  Thank you for your continued prayers! I truly appreciate them!

Deep in the Heart of Texas!
Thursday, 05 March 2009

I just recently returned from a month long road trip in Texas. It was a very productive month sharing my Guatemala ministry. Four churches committed their support, and I received many generous love offerings from God's people! It's awesome to see God's provision in my life, which has been beyond measure! That was my first time to be in the Lone Star state for an extended amount of time. I was able to experience "Texas Pride" in seeing the vast number of stars and flags that are displayed throughout the state. Speaking of stars, I was privileged to attend a Dallas Stars hockey game with First Baptist Church of Meadowview. It was my first professional hockey game to experience, and I really enjoyed it even though the Stars lost.

Anniversary Sunday
Friday, 27 February 2009
On February 22, 2009 Santuario Familiar Bautista Iglesia celebrated their first anniversary with approximately 150 in attendance! Praise the Lord that we can be a light to the people of Sumpango, Guatemala. Check out the new photos that Mindy Kinman sent me. I added them to the media gallery. Pictured here are Jaime, Dámaris and their children. This is a Guatemalan couple who have joined efforts with Team Guatemala!

A good kind of busy!
Friday, 30 January 2009
I praise the Lord that I am at 51% of my support level! It is a great mile stone! In addition, I anticipate God’s continued blessing throughout my deputation schedule. Between now and the beginning of May, my Sunday service schedule is chuck-full, and I also have several conferences and Wednesday services scheduled. Please continue to pray that God will be glorified through my life and provide safety as I am about His business. : )
